Hopefully it is a case of a kindhearted person placing this shoe in a more prominent position rather than a parent putting one shoe on their daughter then forgetting about the other one.

No idea how these ended up here. The first lookout on Diamond Head Road heading east on Oahu.

Riding along the Nimitz Highway in Honolulu I spotted this ball lying in the gutter of the road. These are the types of things I wonder about how they ended up there. Thrown out a window, fell of the back of a truck? Who knows. Went past about two hours after this and the ball was flat.

This one was taken out towards Diamond Head and I was walking past as the person was trying to attach it to the tree. It must have been on the ground and they thought it might be easier to see if it was up a bit higher. Just like the leaning hubcaps. The first photo is a bit dodgy because it’s not the most photogenic place and so I was a long way from the item and the zoom is not good on my small camera.

When I was little hats weren’t a required item of clothing like they are these days. Maybe it just blew off and the parents didn’t notice. Would be cool though if it did blow off and landed on the fence like that at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
