I’m thinking some-one probably found it in the sand and tied it to the rail so the owner might see it a bit more easily. Otherwise did the owner tie it up there so they wouldn’t forget it?

In wide open spaces like beaches I’m not sure how things like this get left behind, unless the wind blew it there from elsewhere.

The world would be much easier if we only had one foot. Well, probably not however it would save having to look for the other shoe all the time.

Spotted on the beach at Malaekahana State Recreation Area on the north shore of Oahu. Someone had to have put it there because what are the odds of the water washing it up and it ended there?
